FREE Youth Empowerment Program for Greater Sacramento Residents
In partnership with Asian Resources Inc, ARI and OCA, Indian Association of Sacramento, IAS (www.iassac.org) is organizing Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) for Greater Sacramento residents. YEP will encompass yoga, breathwork, wisdom sharing, fun games, and team-building activities. YEP aims to support youth by enhancing stress management, concentration, and focus, fostering emotional intelligence and self-awareness, boosting academic performance, improving self-control and impulse management, and promoting better sleep patterns. Through a holistic approach that combines physical activity, mindfulness, and social interaction, YEP seeks to empower youth with essential life skills, equipping them to navigate challenges and thrive in various aspects of their lives.
There will be six sessions.
Saturdays June 15, 22 and 29 10AM-Noon
Sundays June 16, 23 & 30 4.00-6.00PM

FREE Robotics Program for Greater Sacramento Residents
In partnership with Asian Resources Inc, ARI and OCA, Indian Association of Sacramento, IAS (www.iassac.org) is organizing a Robotics Program for Greater Sacramento residents. The Robotics program provides an engaging platform for hands-on STEM education, fostering problem-solving skills, coding proficiency, teamwork, creativity, and innovation. Through designing, building, and programming robots, students develop critical thinking abilities and learn to collaborate effectively with peers. These programs not only prepare students for potential careers in STEM fields but also cultivate a passion for lifelong learning and innovation. By making learning enjoyable and memorable through competitions and challenges, robotics programs inspire students to explore their interests and excel in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, ultimately equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary for success in the future.
